Wednesday’s Word from Coffee Hour @ Chicklit Power
Thanks for joining me today for a mini Coffee Hour @ Chicklit Power and Wednesday’s Word. Grab your coffee and come on in.
This power thought comes from experiencing all that we have in our trench class based on How We Love by Milan and Kay Yerkovitch, and it’s also a popular phrase among CODA (co-dependents anonymous) group members. It’s actually quite helpful in any relationship, but hardest to practice in our intimate relationships, aka, husband/wife, parent/child.
I hope these five simple words will help you when you’re not sure how to maneuver or even where to go when frustration is threatening to take you down in your relationships:
Stay in your own lane!
See, when we get there, He’s not going to talk to us about what so
and so did to us; rather, He’s going to talk with us about what we did
when so and so did whatever they did. We don’t need to go into someone
else’s lane and tell them how to conduct their business, and when
invited over, proceed with caution!Have an amazing Wednesday!
